Compliance you can prove, month after month.
Every rule that governs employing someone in Bangladesh — Labour Act 2006, NBR income-tax, PF, gratuity, BIDA visas — monitored, translated into plain English, and reflected in your live contracts.
Three regulators. One monthly memo. Zero surprises.
Bangladesh's employment-and-tax rules change often — monthly for NBR alone. We monitor every gazette, circular and precedent, translate them into plain English, and update your contracts and payroll before the deadline.
Labour Act 2006
Contract standards, working hours (up to 48/week), leave, PF, gratuity, dismissal, grievance procedure. Amendments tracked continuously.
NBR income tax
Monthly TDS deposit, half-yearly return, annual salary return, e-return. Slab changes each Finance Act (July).
BIDA / MoHA
Expatriate work permits (E & PI category), security clearance, dependent visas, industrial-park registrations.
Compliance as a monthly product, not a one-off report.
Monthly compliance memo
Two-page memo delivered on the 5th of every month: what changed in Labour-Act / NBR / BIDA, what we've updated in your contracts, what you need to approve.
Barrister sign-off
Every material change is signed off by Barrister Farhana Rahman before it hits your employee contracts or payroll calculations.
Audit-ready records
Monthly NBR challans, PF records and payroll journals kept for 7 years. Instant retrieval on request.
Employee-facing updates
When a change affects take-home pay or benefits, we brief the employee in Bangla before the payslip lands.

This page reflects our compliance team's reading of Bangladesh law as of 2026-09-07. It is general information, not legal advice, and does not create a lawyer-client relationship. For specific matters, engage counsel — our legal partner Rahman & Rahman Associates is available on 48-hour turnaround.
Common questions
What happens if NBR or the Labour Ministry issues a mid-year change?
We publish a client bulletin within 5 business days of the gazette, followed by a costed action-plan if your contracts or payroll need to change. For urgent changes (e.g. new TDS rates), we implement in the next payroll cycle.
Can you handle labour inspections or audits?
Yes. If the Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments or NBR requests documentation, we compile and respond. We attend inspections on your behalf; complex litigation is escalated to Rahman & Rahman.
Do you offer stand-alone compliance advisory (without EOR/payroll)?
Yes — on a retainer or project basis. Quarterly retainer starts at USD 1,200 / quarter. One-off contract reviews from USD 500. Get in touch for a scoped proposal.
